On the Road in May!

Due to scheduling conflicts with Edward Plainfield Outpatient Center for our May meeting, Gluten-Free Wikaduke will meet at Caputo's at 10AM on May 2. We'll gather in the cafe and then the store manager will give us a tour of the store. Immediately following the Caputo's tour we'll head down to Meijer's for a tour of their gluten-free offerings at 11:30AM.

GF Pancake Breakfast

Whole Foods in Naperville along with Suesson Vess will host a gluten-free pancake breakfast on Saturday, May 2 from 9AM until 10:30 am. For more information or to register 630-579-7700.

April 4 Meeting

It's that time again! Gluten-Free Wikaduke will be meeting Saturday, April 4 from 10AM until 12 Noon at Edward Plainfield Outpatient Center. Mary will present information on safe gluten-free holiday candy, we'll have a Brownie Bake Off and have an open discussion on topics that interest you.

Brownie Bake Off

For those of you who were at last month's meeting you may remember that Mary announced a Brownie Bake Off for the April 4th meeting. If you would like to enter your brownies (homemade or from a mix) in the Brownie Bake Off, please bring a batch to share as well as the recipe which should include the brand names of all of the ingredients. Award or rather prizes will of course be given. The categories have yet to be determined so if you have suggestions please send them our way.

Please remember to take extra precautions when preparing gluten-free foods for the group. If you're concerned about providing safe foods for the group, you might consider bring milk, plates, etc.
