Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend and has dug out from of the snow!  If I wasn’t ready for spring before....I am definitely ready now!

Here is the information regarding gluten-free products we had discussed last week.  I think the biggest take away I found in doing this research is that you need to pay attention to labels and check out the company’s website.  Several blogs that I used to gather this information called out items that were gluten free but on further investigation by going to the company’s website......I found that some of these companies actually have other products that contain wheat or have ingredients that are derived from wheat or other grains and the manufacturing processes used may have cross contamination and they themselves will not label their items as gluten free.  All experts agree that gluten is not obsorbed through the skin and needs to be ingested to cause a reaction.  But, it can contribute to other issues such as psoriasis and eczema.
