The University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center will host its 2010 Annual Free Blood Screening on Saturday, October 9 from 8:30am until 12 noon. In addition to the screening, an Ask The Experts Question and Answer Session will take place from 10:30am until 11:30am and there will be an exhibit area for the sponsors.To be eligible for the free screening you must have:
- a close family member with Celiac Disease or Type-1 diabetes
- Down Syndrome
- a related autoimmune disease such as rheumatoid arthritis or Addison's Disease
- digestive problems, chronic fatigue, osteopenia/osteoporosis
- other related symptoms or conditions
